Dajak is a landlocked province in the eastern side of the Island. The province is bordered to the northeast by Koetai, to the northwest by Madi, the southwest by Waringin and to the southeast by Tanah Boemboe, Umshatar and Mercato.

The land is mostly thick and dense jungle and the bulk of the population are confined to the rivers. Production in the area is predominantly mining and logging with the wood and Ore traveling downriver in huge barges to be refined in Umshatar

The province lacks the population to effectively work it's natural resources and so is relatively poor in comparison to other provinces.

House Nicoteles is an insular family with little connections to the other houses. The Current Prince is an old man who rarely travels to court and when he is there is known for always abstaining on any issue.

Currently none of the Princes sons have married and so no inclination to do so. This has shrunk the size of the house to a mere 6 people and there is little in the way of extended family.
