The Duchy of Brandenburg is located South West along the coast from the Duchy of Aladar. It was once part of the Western Kingdom.
To the North and West is the small Kingdom of Glissom. To the North is Cauldersfield which is not accessible because of the Pagan Mountains that run between the two regions. To the North East is the Duchy of Aladar, and the free city of Freetaun. The Duchy has a population of approximately 1,200,000 people which are 90% human.
It was involved in the Barony Wars. It sided with the Kingdom of Eltrandor, Duchy of Aladar and the Duchy of Drakenburg, but with the fall of the Duchy of Aladar to the forces from the Western Kingdom under the flag of the Duchy of Aquila, it has not continued the conflict. It however remains apart from the Western Kingdom.

The Duke
The Duke of Brandenburg is a good man, but is limited because County of Brandenburg is land-locked, by the County of Calder. All of the trade travels by barge down river to the Calder City, run by Lord Azzur. Trade goods are taxed heavily, apparently based on how Lord Azzur feels about the Duke at any given time.
