Waringin is the largest province on the southern coast. The province is bordered to the west by Matan, to the northwest by Madi, the northeast by Dajak and to the east by Mercato.

The land is mostly thick and dense jungle except along the southern coast, the bulk of the population are confined to the rivers. Production in the area is predominantly mining and charcoal production from logging towns in the highlands. The five major river systems (The Kota, Pemboeng, Mantaja, Katingan and Dajakew) are all easily navigable and villages are spread every few miles along their length.

Currently there are negotiations with the Prince of House Tellatina over the taxes being levied for use of the River Djelai and these negotiations are rapidly heading towards an outbreak of hostilities between the two houses.

Spirits

Air Spirits
Air Spirits occupy the skies of Waringin. They will attack magical fliers using air magics (Ball Lightning and Thunderclap have been observed).
Landing is the quickest escape from their attack, they have not been observed to continue attacking once a magical flier has landed.
It is not known whether they also attack natural fliers.
