They generally carry a staff and have a clubfoot which gives them a slight limp. They are of a dark mien and speak in a grating voice filled with contempt for all who inhabit this plane.

The avatars are generally practitioners of the arts of the College of Illusions. They are able to cause women to fall in love with men and so allow themselves to be seduced. Their touch, however, makes women barren.
