Ichcolm Abbey (established in 400WK) is famous as the resting place of Queen Mary Habsburg (450-493WK), the last wife of King Sigismund (the King Sigismund) and she is reputed to have a healing effect which is evidenced in the water from the abbey spring sometimes miraculously affecting sick people. Queen Mary grew up nearby in Gerebraun in her early years and she was a great benefactor to the Abbey. Known occupants of the abbey are Brother Giraldus and Abbot Constantine who are both Gabrielite's who are both members of a Sacred Order.
