Gerebraun is situated at an important junction of trails. Situated on the Northern flanks of the Keraptis Mountains the town is important for supplying food to the mountain towns and villages as well as providing wood from the near Forest of Ardent Wildling for fuel and building materials. There is a road heading NW towards Kappenstadt and one comes in from the west from Loffingham as well as the old Kalten river road along the River Kaltburg heading towards Mailland. Gerebraun has several gem-cutters in the town who are well to do and they live in secure mansions at the river/forest edge.
- The Golden Grain Inn.
This is a high class establishment - the only high class one in town. 3 floors with the main taproom area on the ground floor, a floor full of individual rooms on the 2nd floor and the top floor has 2 sets of 3 room suites fitted to the highest quality.
- The Barons Arms.
This is a merchant class in that is clean and respectable. 3 floors with the main taproom area on the ground floor, a floor full of individual rooms on the 2nd floor and the top floor is a more open area than can be segmented by heavy curtains for use by larger groups and 16 people can be accommodated on the top floor. A fireplace connected to the main chimney is in the rear of the floor that provides good heat along with the heat from other floors rising.
