Tanah Melay is a rich realm in the Far SE of Alusia.

History

Geography

In general, this is a hot steamy area of heavy dense jungle and rugged hills surrounded by stunning beaches, a rough coastline and many little rocks or islands. Specifically6 the tradewinds are from the SE and so the range of mountains that divide the empire in the middle mean that the Western side is much more barren / desert like while the eastern side is lusher with the jungles but also a substantial area of land high above sea level which gives a range of different temperate zones.

Plains & PLateaus

  • Gargan Plain. This plain extends for hundreds (almost 375m) of miles West to East and about 200 miles North to south. It is bonded by Burj-Assaih in the far SE, the edge of Lake Khybrr and the cities of Ain-Aljabal at its far eastern end and Annador in the Northeast. The plain gives way to a higher plateau - The Meryk Plateau in the NW but in general the land is reasonably level around 3000ft above sea level. The plain is quite fertile and the area is known for its coffee beans, corn, bamboo, wheat and fruit trees
