- With the approach of the 2000th anniversary of the battle of Penjare there are many dire portents. Astrologers speak of a unique (in existing records) conjunction of heavenly bodies in the near future. Demon Emperors are rising from their captivity and Powers are walking in Alusia once more. Many signs point to the turning of an Age.
- Our purpose is to travel back to just before the War of Tears in order to investigate the backgrounds of many of these Powers and to understand better what occurs in such a time of change in order we can better prepare for, or stop, it.
