This is a major trading port in the SE archipeligo and part of the empire of Tanah Melay presided over by the Emperor Mua'zzam Shah ibni Mahmud Alam of Tanah Melay.
Control of the city rest in the hands of Tengku Abdulah Rarhman ibni Mahmud Alam, the Emperors Nephew and his circle of young Berhormats.
Geography
Surrounded by jagged rocks and reefs.
Chingkapur is known as the Jewel of the Southern Seas. It has hills covered with exotic palaces and temples, and the occasional oddities of Borderlay-style chateau and Aladarian towers. The city is huge, being a major trade hub at the end of a massive peninsula and the area points SE to the tip of the massive archipelago of the southern seas. There are at least 60,000 people in the city, maybe more. There are many deep-ocean vessels in the sheltered harbour, and hundreds of lighter coastal or island-hopping craft.
