Underrealms
A group of nightmarish minor planes or planelets. The planes share some similar physical properties, and some share common borders, allowing a traveller to pass from one to another by normal travel.
Little is known for certain on the Underrealms. Some scholars claim that they are a dark reflection of the mortal worlds (and may be related to the Shadowlands). Others believe they are vestiges of the original creation of the multiverse, while some say that they are worlds in the making.
Between and surrounding the planes of the Underrealms are chaotic and inhospitable wastes whose climates and natural laws change frequently, where the fiery winds that blow across ash deserts, stripping the flesh from the bones of travellers, can change suddenly to arctic blasts that freeze blood solid.
Beyond the edge of the wastes lies the amorphium, an area of primordial creation and destruction.
