These notes were found rat-eaten and in a cave. Written by Argus after many many beers at the bar.

Liuteaunt Achton Hiyniant Asks to hunt three claw the bear

23 hunters, 12 farmers, 53 cows, 7 pigs and 1 chicken (killed)

Immune to control and beast master, heading into another country, from Brastor to Tuscana, cant follow into other territory, possibly now intelligent

Meet at keep, payment from guild plus extra depending + bear corpse.

Forests of Gallane where three claw could be, arcadia figured out there are elven ruins, magic zones and goblins in the area. 400-500 miles from guild 3 ½ weeks on foot or 2 weeks on horse long way

Ferry service to Brasta – 2 days.

Left Seagate half an hour before dawn on the third.

4 weeks of food

Boarded Barge on the third with water mages

3 horses

Encounters a riverbank, BoomBoom finds it easier to cast.

Evening of the 4th – reach Brasta.

Spent the night in an inn and listened for rumours of 3 claw, had been attacked months before

Day of the fifth heading to Emitsburl

Day 6 travels through field of grass which boom boom accidently sets on fire

Day 7 camp of the highland axes Met our camp and handed us a scroll with additional info on where three claw is and routes to his location, we decided to move through the forest for promise of potential loot.

Day 8 – travel

Day 9 – Reachs lake Gordon and finds a milliatary training course and camp.

Day 10 – 11 Party decided to spend time doing the obstacle course with varying successes

Day 12 Rest, at evening we notice the obstacle course was repaired from our own training

Day of the 13th we went towards the sweet water and noticed that in an area the birds have been surprisingly absent, and they are making danger calls and seemed easily spooked.

Soon after we reach the sweet water.

During the night we heard the sounds of an owl being caught and eaten. During second watch it becomes unusually quiet. Third watch hears another owl dying and then returns to quiet.

Day of 14 the beast masters figure out that the horses want to go home.

And we continue to head up stream

During out camping we were attacked by a small pack of big cats, seemingly possessed by communal blood lust, during the attack our horses ran down the river and vanished.

We spent some time trying to find our horses but after 5 miles of looking down stream we didn’t find them.

After failing to find our horses the star + solar celestials attempt to summon light animals and fail to get our horses but instead after an hour and a half another horse from the brasta horses arrived instead.

We went back to camp and slept there.

Day 15 we continue back up river to try and find where 3 claw is meant to be. We spot a 1- ft long eel going down the fort we camp by.

Day 16 – we continue into the wilderness of Gallane to potentially find some old elvish ruins and we find some over sized eel scales.

(5 x leapoard eyes, teeth, skin, claws)

As we moved through and noticed the trees getting taller implying older growths.

Day 17 spent most of today wondering vague north west and fail to find a suitable clearing. On last watch argus noticed the north west direction was notablily quieter.

We went towards the strange quiet and encounted a strange 400ft clearing. This clearing was covered in a grey dust that when ingested tasted like powdered bone with something added, which didn’t poison them.

We figured out it was the results of scarring terrain and gathered an amount of bone for use in some projects, after Acadia DAed the dust, they found out longer possession of it caused life drain and the dust was promptly yeeted.

At the side of the clearing there was a line of cleaved trunks we decided to follow the road

We encountered another clearing with some ruins in a hill and in line with the road tracks with some large 3 claw feet.

In the ruins we encountered a door way which felt very wrong

In the cave there was a rat nest promptly murded, in the nest we found shinny wood with silver and star affinity and jewellery and coins, Arcadia kept a baby rat.

The party spent time resting.

Day 18 – we continued to investigate the dungeon. When we walked by the pile of rat corpses we noticed the rats were almost mummified, and with DA they found out that their life was being reclaiming of its life.

We continue down the dungeon

We encountered a 20 ft (that we could see) corridor full of cobwebs covered in dust and small spiders – Weaving desert spiders, which lacked an aspect and had the spell effect sustenance.

Further in we heard the sounds of blacksmithing, inside were goblins that got murdered. It’s a blacksmithing room with magic heating crucibles.

The party returned back to the corridor and into a misty almost rainforest kind of mist.

Like other places in the cave the moss and lichen seem not wild but uncultivated.

Strangely unexpected there are no drips

In the cave we encountered large cray fish

When hit by a fireball they got “awakened fire potential”

And a pool of water which had nature of magic – potential and effect on drinking “enhanced potential” We spent time resting and eating the crayfish and argus swam in the pool.

Argus eating one of burning crayfish we found out on consumption would convert potential to fire.

Argus got potential actualizing fire then Boom Boom casted extinguish flames which changed it to cold potential then burning after eating again

The party achieves ranked magic philosher

Thalan potential during ended her being death cursed but in reation to her life aspect.

Due to the burning argus forgets all his specials including fireball

Thalan picks transmutation for her potential

We decided to continue by going down the spider tunnel

After the fight the bodys like before seem to vanish as well and we found 10 pounds of gold in pouches.

We took a rest then went through a tunnel into the back of the caves and found a up and down tunnel and landing.

When we went down the thief Arcadia noticed a pressure plate appear in front of her, as if it was just made

It growing, it _, it feeds, it watches, you are here.

Hitting the pressure plate an arrow hit ineffective damage

As we went down it became more ____ and up was steeper

At the top we found a mossy glade with a pond and the bottom we found a cavern with pillars and gaps between them.

In the top room there is also 2 birds and water In the bottom room was fog, and 6 winged stone statues facing the opposite way to V. He DA’s them and gets short lived sentient aura, no curse and at least one is alive.

Top team went to go to one bird but they both fled to the middle on the grassy hill. Arcadia and BoomBoom get bit by snakes. Then the hill stands up and it’s a 15ft wide tortoise. The chickens fall off and run away.

Arcadia DA’s the water and gets nothing but notices that its deep.

Callipe tries to cast smooth animals but there is magic in place to say that the animals don’t count as animals.

Vitrvious pushes a statue, it moves and starts flying.

BoomBoom shoves a fire grenade up its ass.

Before it dies, Flayre DA’s the tortouise and asks best way to communicate and gets “possess the dungeon heart”.

We find loot in a chest in the crater left by the tortuose. V finds 31 semiprecious gems.

In the alcoves of the top room we find a secret door which opened to a short corridor to a brightly lit corridor into a 50 foot across octagonal room with a 10 foot high plinth and a bright red gem.

We DA it and learn that no affect when touching it, affect on potential – potential allows theft on destruction, method of communication – be another dungeon heart.

Flayre climbs and touches, it doesn’t move. Its hovering.

Flayre uses her astrologer knowledge and gets – shatter, focus on your magic, steal a twist.

We all help to shatter the gem and plinth.

Once done we head out of the dungeon and head back to Seagate, and pick up muffin from outside.
