Tanjieng is a walled town surrounded by jungle on three sides and the river on the fourth.

There are no permanent docks at the rivers edge, a semi-permanent punt-village extends from the muddy riverbank at the edge of town into the river where townfolk, villagers, and travelling traders raft up their river punts to conduct their business.

The streets within the town are paved. The townsfolk are confident in their safety, they have minimal or possibly no night watch.

~7th Fruit - The Riverman's boat is found drifting a few miles north and is bought to the town for safekeeping. Special investigators from the army turn up to investigate on the evening of the 10th.
