Talk:The Celestial Elements of Light and Dark
Just some explainations of Light and Dark as elements in our magical universe that I sent to Andrew and he thought should be shared.

Could articles of this kind be marked as philosophical papers by a character (PC or NPC) unless accepted as "TRUTH" by the whole community? Kelsie 11:43, 1 Dec 2008 (NZDT)
The article is under the Philosophy Category, which says "Philosophy is a collection of random writings by fools and lunatics. None of these articles should be taken too seriously." In addition to this categorisation and the clearly tongue-in-cheek nature of the writing, how else would you like articles of the kind marked?

- I find descriptions on a Category page (while useful in themselves) a poor way of communicating this sort of context. After all, the page is also (rightly) in the Celestial category, and if you get here from there, you don't see the other Category tags until you look at the bottom of the page. Most of the Philosophical pages are clearly opinions, this one I found less obviously such. An example of similar provision of context is at Inter-Plane_Travel. I think this is intended as in-game 'schools of thought', rather than a single PC's opinion, so intend to give Helen an opportunity to phrase things before making a guess at the intent. I hope to add some of Darien's ideas at some point. Certainly a nice bit of flavour for the game.--Errol 23:19, 1 Dec 2008 (NZDT)
I was thinking a byline, either PC or if in-game 'schools of thought' an NPC eg Master Herbert of the Yabyab University. The article didn't seem at all tongue in cheek, and who knows, may be completely correct.--Kelsie 12:52, 3 Dec 2008 (NZDT)
An Opinion tag has been added. A byline would also work, but that's for Helen to attribute, I guess. --Andreww 16:18, 30 Dec 2008 (NZDT)
