You can also add yourself to Other Planes.
Also think if the Alternative Training bit is best here, rather than your Cat page. Whichever place it isn't, you should probably add a link from.
Do we have Oh! Bard! Notes anywhere?
And you aren't being told off, that would be vulgar!! Just friendly advice, hopefully making info as easy as possible for everyone to find. --Errol 17:14, 20 Jun 2007 (NZST)
LoL, I've just been lazy in splitting it off, as that made it look one big page, now I feel like I need to actually put my maps online finally... Hmmmm, I'll do that tommorow --Bernard 17:23, 20 Jun 2007 (NZST)
No not told off!
I was just checking background and old scribe notes and noticed that the Fawey links didn't go anywhere so put something in to help the others; so you didn't have to "know" where to look to find the info.
Considering how easy it is to start a new page, it just seemed odd not to have done so from the start?! --Helen 09:31, 21 Jun 2007 (NZST)
Bernard, is there a reason the continent map is an external link? --Errol 23:17, 8 Jan 2009 (NZDT)
I wasn't sure about internal linking of images, if that would make the page load the image every time, and display it, so I external linked it.

It's quite clever, and actually generates a lower-res version for most uses - look at the Image: page, which also has a link to the high-res version. However, I don't think that showing even showing a thumbnail of the detailed image is very useful in the case of this map on this page. I might make a version for use as a thumbnail (with sea, continent, and a blob labelled "Empire") which gives context. I think if it's an external link you can specify another image to use as a thumbnail, rather than the wiki making it's own from the actual image (see the Empire map internal link I added, and the "px" bit). --Errol 10:48, 9 Jan 2009 (NZDT)
