Malphas
President of Deceivers
Malphas appears as a large crow, but this form is insubstantial and will melt away to reveal the form of a dark man dressed in black velvet studded with precious gems. His voice will be rough, but deep and compelling.
He is a master of spoken and written language, and knows the art of magically raising houses and high towers. He also knows the secret desires of the enemies of those he favours and will reveal these thoughts.

History
A Chronology of Events and Encounters
Winter 799wk
Malphas, ???, (???,) and Ipos were performing a great magical ritual deep beneath the Troll Kingdoms ancient capital city. Naturally their plans were disrupted by the arrival of a guild party.
At the point where the party were approaching the avatars of the three (or four?) demons, Ipos discretely approached the party and cut a deal to trap his companions in return for his escape. The party took advantage of the opportunity, tried to capture Ipos as well but it appeared that he had left earlier despite his apparent presence.
Malphas the other demons, and their minions were prevented from returning to their native plane when their avatars were slain, the demonic bodies were stripped, trapped and interred in a secret location. While trapped in this fashion it is believed that they are unable to manifest as Avatars and their ability to interact with their minions and peers is probably reduced. It is not possible to check if they are still interred as the checking would release them.
Malphas' avatar was stripped of his clothing which divination revealed as a form of magical armour.
