Kaz-Dogrul

This Dwarven city was close to the entrance of the Boccacio mine and was home to some 5,000 miners and their families. The city was mostly underground and it had a plentiful supply of water sourced from the nearby The Leung Glacier. On the 27th of Snow (winter 762wk) a sudden catastrophe occurred where a portion of the glacier suddenly melted sending millions of gallons down into Kaz-Dogrul and which drowned almost all of the dwarfs there followed by the sudden freeze of the water in the area that sealed up the mine and city. The handful of survivors took whatever possessions they could and departed for the Dwarven stronghold in the area of Cauldersfield.

The area around the city has since been covered in successive layers of snow and ice and is almost completely covered unless you get very lucky and perhaps find an as yet uncovered portion of the city. Only the dwarves know exactly where the city was and the knowledge has been taken away with the dwarves. The site and surrounding area is reputedly haunted, barren of almost any vegetation even in high summer and is avoided by mountain people if at all possible.
