Helios, Greater Sun Deity
Helios is one of the Major Gods on the plane of Gaia (run by GM Alan Grant), though he has been quoted as watching over all planes upon which his gaze rests. He has also intimated that Helios is but one of the names/aspects of the Sun God.
Helios' age and lineage is unknown but surviving Gaian recorded histories and oral traditions seem to indicate that he has been around and worshipped since the beginnings of civilisation on the plane.
Helios speaks of the other Gods and Powers as friends and family and while vehemently opposed to undead influences does not seem to be actively engaged in hostilities or animosity with those Forces the Western Church traditionally deems Evil.
