The 'de Ridefort' family en route from Eltrandor was attacked by bandits on the 12th of Thaw 806, and several died along with trusted servants and guards. A substantial amount of their 'luggage' was taken while the survivors held off the concerted bandit attack until aid arrived.
Marius 'de Ridefort' was aggrieved to hear of the death of his wife and 2 of his 6 children. The four surviving children are his youngest son Theodore (b802) and daughter Sibylle (b803) along with his eldest daughter Elyse (b782) and twin eldest son Gerard (b782).
In an effort to ensure the safety of his family Marius De Ridefort has sent Gerard away to continue his study at the Artzdorf Academy of High Magic. Elyse De Ridefort will stay at her father's side and learn the family business in Sanctuary. The two youngest children will be tutored by trusted servants and protected on the Logis de la Ridefort in Sanctuary's Elysium Fields district.
In Summer 802WK Elyse was sent to the Southhaven Academy for Girls to finish her education.
