Astrology Reading Where are we going? Everywhere and nowhere. In time and out of time
Premise
Wotan and Hela are heading towards a Grand Conjunction, an event that happens every 20.2 months. This particular one is visible in the evening sky after sunset, occurs in the constellation of the Lover, and the two planets appear to get so close that they're almost kissing, before merging into one, then coming apart again. Of course the astrologers are quite sure this has some sort of cosmological significance and want the party to check out some of the theories they have. Given that Wotan represents the Ruler or King and Hela represents Time or Death, this could be really important.
So far, the theories/conspiracies are:
- The Birth of a King/Queen
- The Death of a King/Queen? King Ulric is going to die?
- The biggest plague Alusia has ever seen.
- Something demonic .... a new Demon Prince?
- The stupidest leader coming to power?
- The bees or ants are planning to declare war, resulting in lots of death?
- Maybe it's a Cyclops leader
- Death. DEATH! LOTS OF DEATH! We're all DOOMED!!! (again)
- Someone's giving birth to something powerful .... no wait ... that already happened. Doesn't mean it can't happen again.
- Total TPK?

1st of Meadow, Summer 821
The party of six adventurers arrive at the Seagate Guild of Astrologers and enter the building to see and hear all of the guild members bickering and squabbling about the possible foretellings of the current conjuncture of the planets Hela and Wotun.
After discussing all possible theories on what is to happen upon conjunction, the party receive coordinates and after a day of preparing at the guild, are promptly teleported to the outskirts of a town called Hiyal in the region of Arabi.
Entering the town the adventurers find a notice board with a wanted notice for caravan guards. The employers' names are Gaspar, Malkior and Balthazar. After making some agreements on pay and collection of equipment needed to survive the desert the party set out with the caravan on what was to be about a 3 week journey across the desert.
The party spends the first week travelling uninterrupted until the evening of the 9th of Meadow when a howling can be heard and a group of what appears to be hyenas charge the party from the sand dunes.
The party successfully defeated all the attacking hyena without any casualties. Party are then given 2 10pt healing potions and 2 potions of vaulting each.
13th of Meadow, Summer 821
The party found themselves to be walking around in circles when consulting the wayfinder, upon learning that the sages say they are tracking a shooting star in the hopes of altering its flight path and causing it to crash into the desert sand.
As night approached the sages began to bring the asteroid down to the desert below but found the asteroid not completely impacting but rather hovering just 20ft off the desert sand as the asteroid itself is fighting against the sages spell, to which the sages beckon to the adventurers to quickly jump onto the asteroid to retrieve a key for them.
15th of Meadow, Summer 821
After jumping onto the asteroid the party were faced with the challenge of defeating a handful of earth and fire elementals guarding a glowing light at the center of the asteroid. A tough fight ensued and with only one of the party members being rendered unconscious, the elementals were defeated and the key recovered.
The key turned out to be a bottle half filled with sand and a half buried upturned pyramid, with various knickknacks also in the bottle. The sages explained that the small pyramid inside the glass bottle held the gifts that they sought. The party confronted the sages and asked for extra 10% pay on top of the agreed sum as jumping onto an asteroid and climbing into a small glass bottle was not part of the job description.
16th of Meadow, Summer 821
The sages prepared a spell to put us in this glass bottle. With a flash of light the party, the sages and even the pack animals were all teleported into this odd glass bottle. Oddly enough the sages are pinned to the ground, regarding a feeling of increased gravity, whilst the pack animals were experiencing a decrease of gravity and were floating just above the surface likewise to that of a swimming animal. The sages tell the party to hurry to the pyramid and find the gifts.
The party made their way towards the pyramid and entered through an opening in the side of the pyramid. The inside of the pyramid were covered with hieroglyphs, some of which were glowing blue providing light. Inside the pyramid was a Sphinx who asked the party to solve his riddles three. Passing this test we asked the sphinx what he was doing in this pyramid. He was unable to recall why or what had brought him here so the party asked if he wanted to come with us. The Sphinx agreed joyfully.
Further into the pyramid the hieroglyphs (translated by the Sphinx) told a story of 2 warrior generals and that this was their tomb. After reaching the inner chamber, the party sees two mummies quarrelling over a golden scepter. The Sphinx points out a riddle scrawled on the wall with a word missing. After writing many words in its place the Party completes the riddle and mummies hand over the scepter and the Party (Sphinx included) is suddenly transported to the branch of a gigantic Boswellia tree.
One of the party members Ashe casts Converse with Plants, in an attempt to speak with this giant tree. The tree responds with an old groaning mumble and asks what we want. Ashe asks for some of it's resin. The tree agrees and exudes some of it's sap. After collecting the resin the party is once again transported to another place in a flash of white light, this time to a place one could only describe as a seemingly endless flat ground covered in a hexagonal grid.
Creatures can be seen eating at an unrecognizable humanoid corpse before seeing the Party and turning their full attention to the Party. It was a surprisingly easy fight being faced with a few rats, two Sturges and an odd rust colored monster. After winning the fight the party are, for the last time, transported but this time back outside the bottle with 3 neatly wrapped packages in front of them labeled Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh. The sages congratulated the party on their success and presented them with an array of planar portals. One that depicts a starry night sky with one singular unnaturally bright star in the center. One that goes back to the outskirts of Seagate. And a few others that go to unknown planes.
17th of Meadow, Summer 821
The party collects payment from the sages and follows them through a portal taking them to a plane called 'The Seven Heavens of Mount Celestia'. The party was then greeted by a pair of Archons named Peri and Perry. Peri explains to the party that they are about to undergo an ascension of a being who is half angel into full angelhood due to all of the good deeds they have done.
Wasn't too long after the party had arrived that a swarm of demons decided to crash the ascension, the Archons of this plane engage the Lesser demons and ask the party to protect the half angel whilst they undergo the ascension as a small group of Imps of various elemental abilities
After slaying the demons the ascension finishes and the party are granted any out of college talent that they want as a way of thanks for helping to defend the ascension, afterwards the archons surround the party and send them homebound to Seagate.
19th of Meadow, Summer 821
The party set out to travel to a village called Hope, stopping at Bolton Bay on the way. Upon arrival the party seeks out Grizelda, to see if she knows anything of the trouble happening in Hope.
