Lake Travis
This freshwater Lake is about 50sq miles in area and the water is a cyan blue colour around the shore with a deeper darker blue towards the centre. The lake is very deep in parts and some estimate it plunges down more than a thousand feet in places. Legends surround the lake of ancient monsters lurking deep in the waters and of hidden treasures in its depths but these are just old legends.
