Overview
Rugged and heavily forested Barony along the Alp River. The population of Sylvanwold is mostly found in scattered and remote villages and logging camps within the dense forest with the only settlement of any size (Bar-sur-Loup) being found on the small piece of the Barony south of the Alp.
Places of Interest
- The western end of the Barony (where it borders on Borderlay) extends into the Lupine Wood.
People
The elderly and much loved Baroness of Sylvanwold for many years, Juliette de La Hay, was killed in Spring of 805 when assassins struck at the Western King during his birthday celebrations. The Barony has since passed to her grand-daughter Jacquelle de La Hay, (lands and surnames passing matrilineally). Jacquelle (b. 789 WK) is well-liked, but lacks political experience.
