Sonny Holliday
Sonny (Santino) Holliday is the 4th child & 2nd son of successful & respected (lesser noble) halfling family of food merchants with discrete criminal connections. He is a shadow weaver
His mother (Teresa) is the Matriarch & the brains who deals with fences, bribes, criminal contacts intelligence & organises jobs. His dad (Rocco) drinks in the tavern playing dominos during the day telling war stories with his cronies gathering intell & possibly works at crime by night if he is not occupied with dinner. His sisters (Arabella & Antonella) & their husbands run the official business with his brother (Rocco Junior) who will inherit leadership of the other side of the family business.
They are surprised by Sonny's ambition of one day becoming a sherif (somewhere else) but not too bothered as they have plenty of dodgy sherif contacts on the payroll. They understand that Sonny would focus on sherifing actual bad crime (murder, armed robbery, kidnapping etc- anything high profile) rather than the family trade & would be a useful contact. They think that it's about time one of the family, descended on both sides from a long line of respected villains, try something new...
