The family business of Von Cleef & Arplet has been in Konigburg since the time of Dominus Jubert Glattezung in 16WK. Dominus, Alfred Von Cleef and Salomon Arplet were educated by their respective families under the tutelage of Aristo Tyle along with many other young men of the time but few have become so famous.
Dominus became the lord of the town we know now as the capital of the Western Kingdom while Alfred Von Cleef and Salomon Arplet founded the exclusive family jewellery business of Von Cleef & Arplet who have been the royal jewellers for the past 800 years. While Alfred and Salomon are long dead the family traditions continue under the current stewardship of Salomon and Renee Arplet.
