Tannhouser Gate
The Tannhouser Gate is a pass though the mountains to the north of Drakenburg near the western border of Aquila. This pass is less than a mile wide but it several thousand feet lower than the surrounding peak.

The area is also home to a small hermitage, the Monastry of the Jade Lotus, frequented by the interant monk Wu Fang. The area is also home to a band of orges and numerous horse sized spiders. The spiders can spin webs of ice and the pass is criss-crossed with mile wide webs, making its passage extremely hazardous.
Norns may also be occasionally sighted in the region.
