Does anyone know where this number came from?

This is a very long time for humans to have been in the area, based on earth history, there should have been the rise and fall of several civilisations between then and the founding of the Western Kingdom.

And we don't have any mention of such in adventuring legend.
Might be best to Email Julia directly.  
 
I'd like to adjust this by a factor of 10. I.e. 1,500 to 2,000 years ago.
 
Tying this in with the fall of Panjari, implying that the presence/influence of Panjari and the peak of the Five Sisters influence kept the 'Barbarians' from moving west through the frontiers area. And only after the fall of Panjari did they start migrating in larger numbers.

That leaves about 1,000 years for them to spread, settle, and build the various states that no doubt warred before eventually forming the WK.

The Major Edit thingy is just a standard blurb and was really only put up there to let you know I am still kinda working on this in dribs and drabs.


Some of the stuff that got left out is becuase they are major campgains which are still going, like the fastness stuff, terra nova, most of the stuff involving destiny and etc etc. I believe alot of those campaigns have deadicated pages.
NB This doesn't preclude human settlements in the area before then. Just not in large numbers or with significant political states.

Note I have put a different date in this time line than the one under the Seagate guild in the Wiki as 1961 was the date listed for the charter being established in the Seagate times.. scarellous rag that it is.
