Zalvic Kosiva Zaorich Derivent Yenihozin, to give her full name, is the current Emperor of the Kijaand Empire. Her rise was sudden and unexpected after the disappearance of Zalvic Gorkara Kyzlbil, the current Emperor. Her age and relationship to Gorkara Kyzlbil is the subject of much muted discussion. It is also not clear if she is actually the head of House Tal'Zalvic, but given their history of weakness it is more likely that she is the one pulling any strings.
Her short reign has been brutal and effecient, with several major pogroms against the human and orcish population. Her control over the Imperial government is near absolute but the loyalty of the Imperial Legions has not yet been tested. She has also come into conflict with the Church of Shahdad over her use of ghettos and transportation of the lesser races and the use of House troops to massacre mortals rather than employ agents of the Church.
She disappeared in 474 CM and returned in 476 CM as a figure of pure light. The last party in Kanloaise has reported she has returned to a mortal form, possibly now a true Immortal.
