Wotan

Wotan is the next brightest object in the Alusian sky (after Freya) and takes 12 years to make a full orbit.

It is a gigantic world, with a thick cloudy atmosphere. The surface is not visible from outside observation. Wotan has at least 4 moons, but not much else is known about it.

Some people call the moons after the 'sons of Wotan' being (in order of distance from the planet, closest first): Baldr; Vali; Heimdallr; and Vioarr. Thunor is also a son but the name has also been used. Others, including the elves, prefer to use the names of the Valkyrie being (in the same order as above): Brynhildr; Sigrun; Hildir; and Eir.

In ancient days, before the War of Tears, there are believed to have been elves living on Wotan (which the elves called Car Olath'air), and there are still Elven Portals to the world. According to certain elven texts, far below the cloudy upper air there lies a world of barren grey plains, scattered with huge iron structures of unknown purpose that pre-date the elves, and even older vast stone blocks carved with disturbing shapes.
