Fine jewel encrusted goblet. Casts a Rank 20 Rainstorm centred on the cup once per day. Or lets an adept of Water Magic cast Rainstorm at +10 ranks.

This wand allows the wielder (who must be an Adept) to (prepare &) cast rank 18 Bolt of Fire. Or it doubles the effective rank of Bolt of Fire if the wielder is a Fire Mage (may exceed Rk 20).

Mace of Smashing

This Mace provides:

  • +3 Damage to have a base of D + 7
  • Every Hit reduces armour protection (AP) by 1. This can be resisted on standard hits. No resistance on EN or SG.
The AP reduction is a magical effect that may not be intercepted by shields or Rune Shield as Spec Grevs may be.
The damage to physical armour may be repaired as per Spec Grev damage to armour.

This Two Handed Sword is an Incarnation of Michael's Holy Wrath. It was forged for the Heroes of the Last Age by the legendary Elven Smith Kalianth, from a shard of an earlier IRA, and blessed by Michael himself during Nightfall. In mortal hands, it has the following advantages:

The Head of Raum

Slain at Nightfall by a powerful warrior of light this severed head of a Demon is a chilling reminder of the ultimate fate of all who serve the powers of darkness.

Avatars and minions of the Powers of Darkness will not willingly approach the head if in Line of Sight. If commanded to do so they get to make a MR check. If they succeed they break free of their controls bindings and will attack the summoner and then return to the 7th plane. It causes Fear (0 x WP) in followers of the Powers of Darkness.

Book of Secrets

This eldritch tome contains the many mad writings of insane prophets and may indeed change on a daily basis.

To merely peruse it's contents is to suffer a back-fire effect. For the purposes of the backfire the spell cast is a 5 FT cost Major Curse. Backfire curse effects may not be resisted.

The book can be used to gain magical insight (+1 MA, lasts till dawn), or may be used to gain an answer to a secret of a magical nature. It takes 1 hour (and backfire effect) per level of complexity the question is (as per Philosopher skill).

Grail of Justice

This sacred (to Uriel) grail may be reverently drunk from thrice per day. It will fully rejuvenate (restore lost FT and EN) the drinker.

If they are on a mission or cause of justice they may increase all primary stats by 2 (4 if an agent of the Powers of Light, 6 if an agent specifically of Uriel).

If drunk by a foolish agent of a power of Darkness it will turn to vitriol in the stomach doing 3D EN damage per pulse.

Against undead, agents, minions, avatars and all the rest water splashed upon them does 1D EN per pulse on a hit.

A Good Lawyer

This scroll contains a bloody good reason why Caprice should be released from captivity, slavery, bondage, etc. Should Caprice be captured and stripped of all possessions it will be easily found and read by her captors. They will then return it to her (along with the rest of her stuff) If Caprice is rightly accused and the law is fair and just (ie no death sentences for stepping on the flowers) the scroll instead bursts into flames.

Ecstatic Whip

This whip causes all struck by it to be rendered helpless (Sexual Ecstasy 1xWP check to perform any action other than grovel and beg for more) for D10 pulses (cumulative).

If entangled (or garroted), the victim must resist (E+E general) or become charmed by the wielder (resist each dawn to break free) each pulse they are entangled.

Boots of Escape

These boots allow the wearer to cast a mirror-image like spell. One image is created for every 5 full MA the wearer has. Images will then split up and flee in different directions (but not the path the wearer intends to take). Images have basic hits equal to 2xWP of the wearer and a rudimentary intelligence (will open doors, won't run down obvious blind alleys) and will last 10 minutes.

BC 2xMA + sneak skill ranks (stealth, courtier, assassin, spy, thief, troubadour) Fire action to cast. Costs 2 ft (or EN if out of FT).

Dagger of Despair

This dagger damages WP instead of EN. Should the victim reach 0 WP, they collapse and give up. Should they reach negative half WP they die. May be enchanted. Note WP does not bleed so grievous effects that cause bleeding effects still affects EN.

Glaive of Madness

May attempt a disarm attack with a ranged weapon.

On a EN hit the weapon lodges and the hand is unusable until the missile is removed.

On a SG the hand is ruined and requires a RK 6 healer to fix.

Sabrina

Potion of Troll-form

Drinking this transforms you into a Fae Troll or Treant. This raises PS and EN by 40, halves Ag, triples the height, multiplies the weight by 30 and triples the TMR. Treants have a NA of 12 and regenerate 1 DP per pulse they are in contact with the ground (not fire damage). They take 1/2 effective damage from Class C attacks, but double from axes and fire. A Treant does not eat or drink (and therefore cannot drink potions) or breathe in any real sense. Treants are 3 hex monsters. They may use giant weapons.


Racial Talents

Animate Tree (1000 EM)
The Treant may animate 1 tree of sufficient size per rank to help them. Same base stats as the Treant and must be of the same size (or bigger).
Earthgate (500 EM)
The Treant may teleport itself and all it is carrying 15 miles + 15/rank. Must be to a known and wooded location.
Many Limbed (5000 EM)
The treant gains an additional attack at no penalty. One attack at rank 0.

The attacker may charge from above their opponent to a range equal to their TMR. This counts as a charge into close combat and may be applied to the subjects rear if so desired. +20 to attack (+50 if to rear).

Hymn of Harmony and Purpose

This hymn, if sung will raise spirits and bolster the resolve of followers and agents of Powers of Light. As long as the singer spends a pass action each pulse they may raise WP by 1/2 Troubadour rank. For each additional pass action or accompanying singer an additional WP is gained (to the limit of singing rank).
