Wow, that's big. And it's so believable!

Small point, wouldn't the upkeep be from church funds (i.e. mainly what the church collects from the local population)? The current wording just says 'tax-take', which to me implies civil taxes. Do we have a term for church taxes/contributions/extortion? --Errol 10:51, 13 Aug 2007 (NZST)

I though tithe was the usual term but I am not much good on history stuff so it probably isn't :-)

I erroneously put this folly in Westgate, but it was always part of an arrangement with Sabastian, and so I think that Emmitsburg is the correct location. As such, I've removed the attempted sabotage that occured in Westgate. Note also that no shipments of stone have actually been requested.
