Nine of Pentacles
The card holder may play this Trump to increase the value of any treasure in the form of coin, bullion or jewellery discovered on an adventure. The value of the treasure is increased by 10%.
This can be applied to their treasure only, no one else's will be affected.

The Lovers
The card holder may play this Trump to know something of the consequences of a choice they are about to make. It must concern the kind of choice where alternatives are exclusive. They learn the consequences of the choice they nominates up to 1 day in the future. The Trump provides no information about the choice not taken.
If they accepts the future laid out before then, then they gain 'the benefit of the doubt' from the DM while behaving in a manner congruent with the prediction. This lasts until the final moment of the choice is played out, or the DM rules that the prediction has failed.
If, having seen the consequences of one choice, they choose the other, no penalty applies. Of course, they do not gain the 'benefit of the doubt' effect in this case.

Satiety
This Trump may be played to provide a 12 course feast over the period of a minute.
The result of this meal is that each diner will recover 1 EN per Pulse until the end of the feast. They also receive an additional attempt to recover from disease and any poisons are cured as if treated by a Rank 8 Healer.
The feast is so sumptuous that all diners recover all of their FT, even that lost to spell-casting or tiredness.

Justice
The card holder may play this Trump, without requiring an Action of any kind, and re-distribute damage between party members (but not their allies). Any amount may be transferred but the damage cannot be avoided in any way by the participants, regardless of their protections. If one of the participant's FT or EN has been reduced as a result of the Trump's special ability, and that participant should die within a minute of the transfer, then the card holder will die an instant later.

Luxury
If the card holder plays this Trump and spends a week in sybaritic luxury (each day costing 1,000sp), any curse, disease, venom or other affliction will be relieved if they are still alive. The continuing effects of the affliction are not suspended, however. If they do not survive the week, then the Trump will have no effect.

Arachnane's Deck
These cards are bound intimately to the holder in some fashion, usually by means of their heart blood. They are not consumables, unless specifically described that way.
Carta Arcana - Luckweb
When in serious danger, the DM may, at their discretion, choose up to a single Action from the card holder's repertoire, that they believe will give them the best chance of survival without endangering their companions. The DM's choice should always be the least difficult to believe and need not require an Action. However, if it is an Action of some kind, it does not count against the card holder's other Action choices. This means that the Luckweb will be unlikely to cast a spell but it could activate a Talent, prepare a weapon, Healing potion or take any other Action that might be believed as a fortuitous stroke of chance.
The card holder may benefit from their Luckweb no more than once each month, and each use will reduce their store of Luck by 1.
Should they be gathered by those learned in the arts of Alchemy, their heart blood may be harvested for 3 Luck. Most Alchemists find Luck a temptation particularly hard to resist.

Carta Arcana - The Lovers
This image is painted on a slim plaque of marble and weighs 4 oz. The card becomes effective if the owner becomes 'romantically engaged' on the occasion of a festival. The owner must choose either Critical Choice or Passion at the moment of climax, and is not reversible. The card can hold only one of these results at any given time.
- Critical Choice
- Whenever confronted by a critical choice, it may be played the card to choose the best decision in the DM's judgment.
- Obviously, from time to time the DM may be unable to determine the best course, and may have to resort to dice etc. For that reason, they are encouraged to always flip a coin or roll dice, whenever Critical Choice is played.
- Passion
- They may gather 1 Passion.

Carta Arcana - The Moon
This image is painted on a slim plaque of marble and weighs 4 oz. The owner may collect a moonbeam on a night of the Full Moon. A moonbeam can be discharged at any time other than noon, and requiring no Action at all, to:
- subtract 5 from all their die rolls if Lunar Aspected for 12 Pulses.
- add the owner's WP value to their PC on occasions when their psychic sensitivity is being tested. This applies to Sense Danger or any PC check that the DM deems is psychical in nature.
Up to two wolves or wolf-like beasts may be passed into the card while under the light of the Full Moon.
Up to two fish, crabs or lobsters or similar may be passed into the card while under the light of the Full Moon.
Creatures inside the card do not experience the passage of time. Only one creature can be passed into or drawn from the card a day, and the process takes about five minutes.
The card can hold no more than 3 moonbeams at any given time.

Carta Arcana - Temperance
This image is painted on a slim plaque of marble and weighs 4 oz. This card may be played on a festival day when the owner attends a performance or observes a beautiful object. If the performance or object is deeply moving, whether because it is good or bad, the owner must Break 100 + WP + PC, and if they succeed, they may choose Alchemy or Beauty, the choice being irreversible. The card itself will only hold one of these effects at any given time.
- Alchemy
- The owner may create one potion at 1/10th the normal cost and taking only 8 hours. Alchemy can only be performed once per Season.
- Beauty
- They may gather 1 Beauty.

Carta Arcana - Judgment Day
This image is painted on a slim plaque of marble and weighs 4 oz. This card becomes effective when the owner sacrifices a point of EN and writes their name on the back. On the occasion of owner's death, it may be played so that they will be reborn in their resurrection chamber at dawn of the following day.
- Note
- The magic underlying this card reflects a degree of omniscience. Therefore, the decision of whether or not this card is played is the player's, not the character's, and they may take advantage of whatever information they have as a character or a player.
Once used, a D10 is rolled and if the result is a 9 or a 10, the magic has been exhausted, whereupon it will disintegrate into tatters. If it is not destroyed, the card may be re-charged (as described above) by anyone who has not already signed the back.
