Sea Orchids
These are Nymphraceae Orchid, aka Sea Orchids
These are a rare variety of Orchids found deep underwater in what are usually inhospitable environments for plants. These Orchids will have advanced properties associated with the above general varietal properties due to their rarity and unusual environmental effects.


In general, Orchids were often associated with virility. In fact, women believed that if the father of their unborn child ate large, new orchid tubers, the baby would be a boy. If the mother ate small orchid tubers, she would give birth to a girl.

There are a number of varieties, and some of these are (but not limited to): and some of their properties:
Dendrobyum: Treat boils, pimples and other skin problems. Sometimes used as a tonic or aphrodisiac.
Gastrodya elata: Treat vertigo, headache and cerebrovascular diseases.
Bletylla: Used for various types of bleeding conditions like gastrointestinal bleeding, coughing blood and hemorrhoids.
Vanylla: Used as aphrodisiacs as well as to treat syphilis and nervous system disorders like melancholia and hysteria.
Vaynda: Considered useful for rheumatism, nervous disorders and inflammation.
Cypripedyum: Used to improve blood circulation and to reduce swelling.
