Through the wonders of modern magic these 2 planes have collided.
Savannah
Savannah is a plane that was repaired/constructed by a guild party. The majority of the plane now consists of "Black Rock" which has a magic draining effect, the nature of the drain is dependant on the quantity of the "Black Rock" near the magical source. The main Sentient entities on the plane are Human's who are treated like pests and a race of short bipedal lizard people, whom it is known have the ability to breath fire. Also the lizard's have developed the means to cast spells while in contact with the "Black Rock" although they do pay a hefty price for doing this...
The environment itself is mostly rainforest/jungle similar to that of the Amazon.
The basis for the Lizard culture is loosely tied to Aztec theology/belief thou with a few changes to suit the idea that magic actually works.
People/s of Note
Quilk - This is the first entity that the Guild met from this plane, A short bipedal lizard, whom was assigned by his village shaman to summon a guild party to their village to go and kill a large Wyvern. Needless to say things took an unexpected turn at one point during the quest but more information can be find in the scribe notes.
Savannah Halflings - GTN Dark-bringer, generally halfling-shaped blue shapes to rk20 Witchsight. DA's on flutist gave this information Short Lived Sentient, highest ranked magic none, Plane of Origin Savannah. Wear green/brown leather, braided hair, coin purse, boots. Have a strange origin and society. These Halflings were encountered on the second trip to Savannah/Savarea.
Savarea
Savarea on the flip side is a massive rolling grassland, with pockets of swampland, which is going through a massive ice age.
The main Sentient's inhabitting the plane are Ogre's and Human's. The Ogre's have a very strong tribal culture, with real world roots in the Red Indian's of the far North of America. The Human's come in 2 flavour's, Slaves and Refugee's.
Things of note in Savarea, from all reports there are only 6 distinct stars in the sky, the ogre's believe that the Guild has heros that if called upon will aid them through their troubles.
People/s of Note
Giant Ogres - GTN Ogre Gigantis, Long-lived Sentient (one DA's as 4,322 years old). The leader of 4 that a Guild party encountered has a strange college all to do with cooking, he(?) uses Cleansing Flame and burning a wagon to cook the wyvern that he butchers for the party that encountered him. Highest ranked spell DTJs, the two 'soldiers' use various fire and earth spells in their demonstration of martial aptness as well as Spell Barrier. They appear to have a lot of control, dropping effects just before they injure etc.
Kahn - Is the human over-slave who brought the message of the mission from the Shaman. Speaking Orcish, he doesn't have many details, as he ran away from the fire demons whom the party was hired to hunt down and deal with. His Armour is a single piece of mammoth-skin, which has been blessed by the shaman so undead (only definitely proven for lesser) can't sense him.
Baylan - A human child which the 2nd party of adventures recued from an enchanted swampland which had changed Baylan into a tall blue bipedal lizard. Baylan then learnt a few things from the party.
