Sanctuary Downtown

This district is replete with big houses and courtyards, full of artworks owned by people who admire their cost more than their value. All of Sanctuary is built on money from drugs, theft, slavery, and illegality, but Downtown's money has to be washed weekly. The inhabitants of Downtown are the first-generation successful businessmen who have escaped the Maze (or similar locales), but have yet to fall prey to the hypocrisy of Uptown. The heads of the households still do their own dirty work, but send their kids to music lessons.

Places

People in Downtown don't know the places you are looking for. If you need directions, you are in the wrong part of town. Nosey people don't last long around here. The church steeples and big halls are all private property.
