Otto von Schultz
(Taken from the article by Lee-Anne Baun in the Aquilan Chronicle - 4th Harvest 805)
Otto von Schultz is an Aladarian/Aquilan painter born in the war torn region there and who draws upon the vivid images in his mind and soul to capture the spirit and essence of his subjects. He recently had his first exhibition in Ostow and won acclaim from the public for his gritty portrail of the human suffering and hardships in the region. He is a talent to be watched in the future.
Otto is a 6'8" tall native of the war torn frontier that still fought over by Aquilan and Aladarian nobles along the river (XXX) in what is now officially claimed as 'Aquila' after the Baronies War peace accords. He looks older than his 30 odd years due to the depth of his exposure to the agony of war, starvation and death. He has distinguished looks more characteristic of older gentlemen and dresses well.
He initially found some fame for his vivid recollections of war scenes he encountered during the Baronies war but he has since gained a number of commissions from far and wide and specialises in Portraits which are most accurate and insightful. Some Art critics have stated "he paints a picture that enables you to see to the Soul of the subject in a most real and life like manner" while another said "It seems they could just move and see you wherever you view them from".
