Tasks to undertake
The following list detail unusual things in and around Newcourt / Newcastle, unusual things or behaviours exhibited by key people and notes of information whaich may be pertinent to our investigation.
In Newcourt
People
- Gerald Snr
- His experiences in previous 'in between' state from last mission gave us Karrick / Carroc as a name. Get him to remember further as he holds the books as previously mentioned. Use Mind Mage?
Locations
- Undead Lair
- What are they there for? Who creates them? Are the tunnels still in use? Do they connect to the white tower? Do they connect to the mines?
- Located under the chapel. Still questions to be answered.
- The Black Stair
- Find out more and perhaps arrange for it to be excavated and access to the tunnels beneath? :Adiitional information still to be gained, possibly in Alfheim, possible through digging them out.
- The Amber mines
- What points of access into the tower might there be down there? What Causes the Amber? Why Here?
- Partially explored and potentially dangerous. Needs further exploration.
- The seals on the White Tower
- These are linked to the Elven court in Elfhiem? To whom/what? Can we arrange to have the seals removed to gain access?
- No investigations completed as yet.
- Water Sources
- The Great Tower has a magical cistern at the top and with an unusual object at its centre. Investigate. Additionally the cistern under the great tower has a fortified cistern with another similar object in it some 50-60 ft down.
- Probably unimportant. Investigate in we run out of other avenues.
- Gargoyles
- Divinate/Ancient Div the gargoyles to (probably) get Dark Bindings Counterspell and possibly deactivate when we break White Tower seals. Suggest done before we poke around Undead too much!
- Divination completed.
External Sources
- The Mad Baron
- Gervais is possibly currently interred in MMHS at the Sanatorium there. Meet and interrogate him to find out more. Use talking, perhaps get old portraits / pictures of his old companions and get the illusions put on us if that may help (after talking with him first) to talk with him and jog his memory.
- Currently under investigation. Partially hampered by prescence of Illusionist.
- The White Lodge / Noble order of the Veiled Way
- Who else might have knowledge of these organisations / Colleges? Perhaps seek an audience or speak with Lord Yo / Jade Dragon through the good offices of Axis?
- Elfheim
- Visit here and we can deal with a number of the issues we are coming to realise the importance of and perhaps find some answers
Questions and things possibly resolved for the moment
- The Baron
- Why has he been put off actually having the wedding? What is influencing him to do so?
- ANSWER: The Baron is being driven to complete the Castle and its environs by a very old influence (older than 2000yrs). The influence isn't a control, curse, or geas etc but fuels his natural desire for completion and his love of building. Also appears to be related to building a wall to keep something out.
- There doesn't appear to be any further information divinable from this source at the moment.

- Good source of knowledge and ability to contact Dragons and their knowledge base

- Broc has met them. Can he use them as a source of Knowledge?
