Melampus de Argos

Melampus is an old elven mage skilled in Runes and Languages. He is 6'4" and 170 lbs with long white hair, bushy beard (with wisps of black) and slight build. He always carries a quarterstaff inscribed with many runes. He is skilled in arcane uses of Blood and similar substances and their use in finding people.

Melampus (as of Early Winter 807) resides in a tower some 14 miles East of Borderlay Town.

The tower belongs to Simone de la Varain who was a friend from many years ago and a keen scholar herself. When Melampus turned up 2 years ago in 805 she gave him rooms. Simone died a year ago and Melampus stayed on to look after her 3 girls.
