Marasei

Marasei is an inland mining town on the River Mara. The town has a lot of barge traffic heading down to the coast, a fairly rough and tumble place but ruggedly built, it is an inland barge port that carries quarried stone down to the coast. Marasei is part way down the River Mara and the river continues some 10 miles northwards. There is a number of quarries nearby cut directly into the hills that are visible.

• Lord of Marasei, Horacio de Dorodio. Horacio de Dorodio had a father who was from Destiny and thus his unusual name although his mother was the niece of the Baron_of_Xantenburg, Lady Charlotte von Gothe. Lord Haracio has 4 sons Arnold, Hadron, Zinzan and Donatello who are aged between 19 and 27.
