A Dwarven underground stronghold high in the mountains.

The hold is divided into a number of guilds with different areas of responsibility. They worship their ancestors with the principal deity being the Bound God whose disciples wear heavy shackles and chains in respect for the suffering of their patron.
Granite Peak is know to produce weapons and armour of incredible quality. Their principal defenders are the Slayers (unarmoured berzerks) and the Iron Guard.
They employ several variants of the usual colleges of magic including Utterdark, Runesmithing, Storm and Lightning colleges.
Several guild parties have been employed by the hold in the past.
