End of Days

The End of Days is a time prophesied to come when the stars fall from the sky. It is supposed to be the time when the spirits of those dead rise to be judged and sent to their final reward, although there are many positions on how that reward is to be administered. There are many position on whether there even is a reward.

The End of Days is signaled by many foreshadowing events, one of which is the release of Appollyon and his swarm of brazen locusts. He and his army are supposed to sweep across the world, devouring all who stand before them. His name is rendered Abaddon in a language that has not touched a human tongue in millenia. He is styled, in that tongue, the Angel of the Abyss.
