DQWiki:Image use policy
Copyright
It is our policy that all contributors to the wiki observe and respect copyrights on material they add to the wiki.
Our preference is for all of our contributors to use original material so that copyright never becomes an issue.
All contributors assume personal responsibility for the material they add to the wiki. If you state you have the right to use the material then we accept your word.
If we are notified of a breach of copyright then we will remove the offending material as soon as reasonably possible.
If think this is wrong, sort it out with the person who complained and note the resolution in the Talk page if/when you restore the contentious content.
In addition any materiel found to be breaching copyright will be removed unless their is an appropriate link or information indicating permission to use the image.
Non-Copyright Material
A number of sites have fair use clauses or have lots of freely usable images. To make them easy to use a number of templates have been created for them so that you can easily detail where the image came from.

The United States Fish and Wildlife Service has a wide range of animal images that are free to use.

Objectionable Content
Don't do it! This is a publicly viewable website, if you would be uncomfortable explaining to your parents or kids why you put the content/images on the site, then it's probably objectionable content.
If there are reasonable complaints about offensive content, then it will probably be removed.
