Caeli Island

This island is between Nova Bay and The Great Western Sea leading down to the Azurian Sea

Geography

This island is separate from the Gatar Depression due to the Raxe Strait which is 5 miles wide but has very dangerous rocks and currents for the length of the 10 miles of the strait.

The Island itself is orientated NW to SE on a 45 degree angle and is some 200 miles long and up to 50 miles wide. There are smaller parts of this island separated by short distances of water but they are effectively all one landmass

The western point of the island is called Cape Dun Erka. It is this point that ships pass to head SE towards the Five Sisters, Palestrina, Azuria etc OR head west towards the Western Kingdom lands.

It is an island of steep cliffs and rocks but covered in forest once past the coast.
