Some of you may know already of my fame as an alchemist. I travel far and wide across the lands looking for alchemical ingredients for my strange and fantastical potions. Whilst travelling in untrammelled and diverse parts I came across a fierce young elf who was beset by ravening beasts of the forest. I of course offered him my assistance. When our fight was done I was able to see that he was greatly wounded and he fearing that his death was near begged me to take him back to his family. I proceeded to try to heal the young elf so that his life would not grievously short. I toiled through 3 days and night and by way of wondrous potions was able to bring the young gentleman back to health. We proceeded back to his family with him bedecked in the furs of his foes. I feared that the fearsome warriors of the wild elves would kill me instantly but surprising it was not to be. The young elf rode triumphantly into his township and delighted the village with his tales. And thus they treated me as an honoured guest and allowed me to stay and learn of their ways.
