Mungo Third Son has only just started adventuring. He comes from the Land of the Ice and Snow in the North somewhere... He is 6' 4" 200 lbs, 18 years old.

At the moment he definitely wont be learning a magical college as reading all that dry technical stuff bores the crap out of him... & also because he doesn't want to risk his reputation by becoming a know-it-all weedy coward who wears robes ...

His defining characteristic is hair, of which he has an abundance, which crawls around his head, growing as constantly as an usurer's interest.
He has recently acquired a new style for his "do": shaggy gray hair & thick shaggy gray sideburns - as well as a desire to howl at the moon & eat meat that is not cooked too much... He shows more bare skin & muscles than are necessary for warriors other than those portrayed in the art of Frank Frazetta. He wears lots of fur and leather otherwise.

He is the youngest son of a very minor but self important highland barbarian/bandit chieftan & his 2nd wife - a well bred but adventurous gentle lady at first captured for ransom & then seduced by large muscles, too much mead, a well cut fur loin cloth .....& too many bodice ripper tales of romance...

He has been taught to read, educated & given a good knowledge of the outside world by his ambitious mother keen to see him move up the family pecking order & improve the tribe’s (her) prospects .... so has gone off to seek plunder & treaure but most importantly a fearsome reputation through the guild....(& to hire a skilled bard to be handsomely paid to recount his adventures - that is if any of the weasel libertines will actually complete a job rather than legging it with the deposit) & obtain a worthy “name” rather than just his birth order – i.e. “Dragon-Killer”, “Six-Slayer” etc which would be an accurate reflection of his perception of his character and status. As part of the package deal he also needs to acquire a weapon with an appropriately fearful name e.g 'Widow-maker" 'Peace-bringer" 'Blood-drinker" etc..

He respects warriors, manly sorts etc and anyone who likes eating and drinking excessively & telling tall tales of ones exploits into the early morning...so any halfling blessed with a tongue of silver has a decent head start. He regards mages as damned useful too like shopkeepers – but not as important as blacksmiths.... and some women are damned tough too....however at the end of the day, he who tells the best story wins.

He knows how to survive in the wilds (Ranger)(Hunter) and & has been trained from birth to fight skilfully (Warrior) and tactically - especially by charge or by last stand at the top of a pile of his slain enemies (MIl Sci) .

He is played by Michael McFadden.
