Talk:SoCorruption Reword
From DQWiki
What is the intention / requirement of the rewording?
There seems to be two points that came up:
- That the spell fires a great gout of the stuff,
- Not sure what to do here -- the first sentence of the spell echoes Blackfire with shoots a similar shaped column. Is there a way to clarify this, or is this a non-issue?
- What entities are or are not effected.
- The spell states that all "entities occupying hexes through which the stream passes must resist or suffer [equation] damage".
- It makes no exceptions for undead or constructs, etc, but the pestilential description of the stream, and the increased infection chance seems to have lead some GMs to think it only effects living creatures.
I've added "lacerating" to the bone shards, and "corrosive" to the pus so that the damage is more obviously not just disease / organic in nature, and changed the entities infected to "living entities" to make it more obvious that non-living entities can also be damaged, just not infected.
