This urbanised and sophisticated orcish kingdom is in the northeast of the Western Marches. To its east is its chief rival, Mishrak, and to the south, the Baronies of Karne and Halkor. The kingdom is very densely populated. Although it is hilly and only 40 miles square, it is home to nearly 200,000 orcs. All adults are enlisted in the army. Most of the raw recruits serve in the fields or the mines, providing supplies for the armies and towns. Because of the dense population, there is no land to support horses or large livestock. Nadrak can put over 15,000 crack infantry in the field at any one time, and another 80,000 fighting militia in defence of its homelands. Nadrak is usually at war with Mishrak and DeBourgnac. In return for trade and technological and logistical assistance from Karne and Halkor, Nadrak rarely invades them. Since the Silent March, Nadrak doesn't deign to invade the weak and pathetic Volar.

Towns

Nadrak is almost 30% urbanised, far in excess of its human neighbours.

  • Nadrak (popn 18,000) is the capital city
  • Sarvale (popn 6,000) is a mining town
  • Qabmel (popn 4,500) is a forestry town
  • Naldaka (popn 7,500) is a crafting town
  • Desark (popn 6,000) is the primary fortified town
  • Yalera (popn 5,000) is a trading & research town

This orcish kingdom is run by William Dymock.
