Carlson's Switch

Carlson's switch is one of the three main, year round passable canyons that pass between the Sweet Riding and Brastor and as such this is a critical pass for mercantile trade and travel.
Carlson's Switch is the northernmost and largest of the passes and covers some 8 miles in a direct line but some 13 miles with all the switchbacks and valleys etc.
Site of one of the largest battles during the Dark Circle period when the pass was assaulted with Guild assistance in Winter of 805.
Gideon's Reprieve is a well established Inn situated in the pass
