Personality - Tries to affect an artless charm but is also quite self important. He can be well spoken & does not always sound like hairy thug & a blow hard. Regards himself as being of noble blood on both sides & born to lead – which would be lost on civilised folk. As part of his concept of leadership and general responsibility he will make decisions on for moral reasons - i.e. if he thinks it is right or wrong. He respects warriors, tough guys etc - regards mages as damned useful too like shopkeepers  – but not as important as blacksmiths.

He has been taught to read, educated & given a good knowledge of the outside world by his ambitious mother keen to see him move up the family pecking order & improve the tribe’s prospects .... so has gone off to seek plunder & treaure  but most importantly a fearsome reputation through the guild....(& to hire a skilled bard to be handsomely paid to recount his adventures) & obtain a worthy “name” rather than just his birth order – i.e. “Dragon-Killer”, “Six-Slayer” etc which would be an accurate reflection on his character and status. As part of the package deal he also needs to acquire a weapon with an appropriately fearful name e.g 'Widow-maker" 'Peace-bringer" 'Blood-drinker" etc..  Intending to succeed his father as top barbarian... he is not overly interested in material wealth or luxury & not overly concerned with acquisition of material items other than weapons etc. Likes a good time in the company of others e.g. feasting & drinking with party members & companions.

Mungo Third Son has only recently started adventuring. At the moment he definitely wont be learning a magical college as reading all that dry technical stuff bores the crap out of him... & also because he doesn't want to risk becoming a know-it-all weedy coward who wears robes ...

His defining characteristic is hair, of which he has an abundance, which crawls around his head, growing as constantly as an usurer's interest.

He comes from the Land of the Ice and Snow in the North somewhere... He is 6' 4" 200 lbs, 18 years old, PB 16...

He has recently acquired shaggy gray hair & thick shaggy gray sideburns & a desire to howl at the moon & eat rare meat... He shows more bare skin & muscles than are necessary for warriors other than those portrayed in the art of Frank Frazetta. He wears a necklaces of bear claws, sharks tooth, studded leather braces, a broad studded belt...Wears fur trimmed soft boots, deer fur trimmed cloak, leather armour. When fighting wears a "spectacled" helm with aventail, a large round shield & large sword or large axe... or large dagger.. Also uses a (large) recurved bow..

Youngest son of a very minor but self important highland barbarian/bandit chieftan & his 2nd wife - a well bred but adventurous gentle lady at first captured for ransom & then seduced by large muscles, too much mead, a well cut fur loin cloth .....& too many bodice ripper tales of romance...

He respects warriors, manly sorts etc - regards mages as damned useful too like shopkeepers – but not as important as blacksmiths.

He is no meat-head although is inclined to play a "stage barbarian." Last stands to the death are noble & worth a tale – only if there is no choice otherwise etc. Single combat/ duels are different. He knows how to survive in the wilds (Ranger)(Hunter) and & has been trained from birth to fight tactically - esp by charge, ambush, charge, surprise, mass charge...etc (Mil Sci)... although sometimes the waiting gets too much & one just has to go out & smack something with sword...

He is played by Michael McFadden.

Psst!, where is this town called Konigsburg?
