Erma's Pass

Erma's Pass is some 70miles in length and takes 3-6 days to traverse between Baklava and Xantenburg depending on the weather. The pass has followed a series of natural trails across the mountains up and over Myke's Saddle, the highest point of the pass at 6500ft. Over the past few decades some work has been done to make the pass safer from avalanches and rock-falls by cutting away some rock in various parts of the pass and 3 sets of caves have been established along the route to provide some shelter from the elements for those traversing the pass. The caves are Ermas Rest, Coryns Cave and Drogans Hearth. Drogans Hearth is about halfway along the pass and a family of Dwarves live there providing some services to travellers while spending most of their time prospecting in the mountains. Passage across the pass is the most common and known way to traverse across to Xantenburg from Baklava and vis versa.
