New page

[[Category:Mungodia]]
Mungodia is the name given by the people of [[Gosh Goyope]] to the tropical rain forest that covers a large portion of the southern continent.
<div class="TOC">__TOC__</div>
; GM : Jon McSpadden

== Geography ==
Tropical rain forest dotted with [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tepui Tepuis], a few mountains, and several pyramids.
Extending from west coast to east coast, up to 1,000 miles north and south of the equator.

== People ==
The natives have a hunter gatherer society.
Some are based in semi-permanent villages, others are more migratory.

There is some slash and burn farming (setting fire to an area of jungle, planting it with a
crop, harvesting, then moving on to another suitable area).

Magic is tied to spiritual beliefs and living in harmony with the spirit world.
Entity magics in familiar and unfamiliar guise are part of normal life.
Traditional Shaman have ritualistic magic that is different but at least as powerful as modern colleged magics.

: '''For players and GMs''': A conglomerate of Middle American, North American, and African mythos for their spiritual beliefs, physically they look like darker skinned Amazon Indians.

== Places ==
The locals have no maps and their land marks and directions are often misunderstood by foreigners.
Villages sometimes move, plant life grows and changes relatively quickly.
Local guides are recommended for anyone attempting to explore the area.

The locals talk about sacred temples and places within the jungle, most of their valuable metals and gems are accredited as coming from these places deep in the jungle.
Evidence is inconclusive from those few who have returned from attempting to find these places.

== History ==
Little is known of who or what came before the tribes that live there now.
Stories and rumours imply that people of great power and wealth once occupied the region.
