The natives have a hunter gatherer society. <br />
Some are based in semi-permanent villages, others are more migratory.<br />

There is some slash and burn farming (setting fire to an area of jungle, planting it with a<br />
crop, harvesting, then moving on to another suitable area). <br />

Magic is tied to spiritual beliefs and living in harmony with the spirit world. <br />
Entity magics in familiar and unfamiliar guise are part of normal life.<br />
Traditional Shaman have ritualistic magic that is different but at least as powerful as modern colleged magics.<br />

The locals talk about sacred temples and places within the jungle, most of their valuable metals and gems are accredited as coming from these places deep in the jungle.<br />
Evidence is inconclusive from those few who have returned from attempting to find these places.<br />
