&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;When WP or MA temporarily &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;in&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt;crease or &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;de&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt;crease; so  do PS, EN; MD, AG; WP.Â  Thus Mil Sci &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;raise moral&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt; also &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;temporarily&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt; increases PS, and EN â€¦ in &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;addition&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt; to any magical increase that may be in effect.Â  &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;&amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Purification&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt; likewise &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;may&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt; increase MD &amp;amp;amp; AG, although if  other magical or quasi-magical effect in play then, on a stat-by-stat basis  only the greatest beneficial counts beneficially (bonuses are NOT added). &amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
    &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Damage&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt; should be  calculated as coming off the REAL stat firstÂ   -- e.g., having morale constantly raised by Rk 10 mil sci does NOT give  you 5 pts of free Endurance every 2 pulses â€¦ but it &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;may&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt; keep some wounded characters conscious &amp;amp;amp; moving when they  would otherwise by down &amp;amp;amp; bleeding to death.Â  Â &amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
  This may sound confusing, but is easy in practise â€¦  especially as Heroes, &amp;amp;amp; the like do NOT wander around with many  weapons.Â  &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
==Weapons==&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Typically most heroes are well-trained in the â€œ18 legendary  weaponsâ€, but no REAL hero carries more than one melee weapon (or set of  weapons) and one type of missile weapon.Â   Wearing many weapons is the most blatant way of announcing that you are  master of none; you will NOT get any H/S/B combat bonuses and, in effect, even  loose some initiative.&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
  Donâ€™t worry if you loose the minimum stats to use a weapon:  it is still used at your normal rank.&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
  &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Thrown weapons&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt;:Â  any weapon not rated â€œRâ€ may be thrown, but  at an [additional] -20.&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
  &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Improvised weapons&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt;:  any object may be treated as improvised weapon, provided you clarly have the PS  &amp;amp;amp; MD to wield it adequately.Â  If it  used &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;quite similarly&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt; to a standard  weapon you have ranked then use the BC for that weapon -10.Â  Thus the same hat-rack might be used like a  glaive OR like a giant club, depending on the person brandishing it.Â  If the improvised weapon cannot really be use  as a normal weapon (e.g., a bed) the penalty is usually -30 to -50.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
